Time to get back into the habit of speedpainting! Here’s hoping I have the steam to spare after work to get little bits and pieces done. Reference used. About an hour spent dicking around.

And then Shy screencapped the hell out of a game with great cinematography and thumbnailed a few shots. Then she completely forgot about the aforementioned exercise despite its value in regards to teaching her of composition.

I haven’t even started playing KotOR 2, but I can already tell I’m gonna be the kind of girl who’d climb over Atton Rand to get to Bao-Dur if the latter was actually romanceable. Decided to give those nifty pencil brushes that have been floating around for Paint Tool Sai a try. I’m still not sure if I like them or not, but you can’t argue with practice, I suppose.

Not all speedpaintings turn out well, but I’ve been very busy with work and Metal Gear Rising and I haven’t been doing as much as I’d like.  About an hour spent on this in Sai, with reference used and the support of Achievement Hunter Let’s Plays.

Challenging yourself is hard! But if you spend the time on this I’m sure you can do it and it will be gorgeous *__*

I just have absolutely no idea where to begin! It’s been that long since I’ve finished something and it’s utterly terrifying and so incredibly silly that I feel that way about doing something I enjoy.

I may just leave it until there are better references for the guy’s outfit up for download, because if I do something now and it turns out it’s nowhere near right I will be very, very mad.
